Ingredients: Black Cohosh(Actaea racemosa), Chaste Tree, Licorice Root, Sarsaparilla Root, American Ginseng Root, Sage (Salvia officinalis), Distilled water, Vegetable Glycerin, and Alcohol.
BENEFITS:
Black Cohosh is most commonly used for menopausal symptoms, including hot flashes (also called hot flushes) and night sweats (together known as vasomotor symptoms), vaginal dryness, heart palpitations, tinnitus, vertigo, sleep disturbances, nervousness, and irritability
Chaste Tree helps reduce menopausal symptoms by reducing the frequency of hot flashes and night sweats and improving your mood. This may be because chasteberry contains phytoestrogens, natural substances that mimic estrogen (the hormone that your ovaries stop making after menopause).
Licorice Root supports healthy estrogen levels. It supports adrenal hormones and it's very nourishing. If you have frequent sugar cravings this is a great way to curb those cravings.
Sarsaparillla Root has saponins and plant steroids found within sarsaparilla might help mimic the effects of natural reproductive hormones and growth steroids, including estrogen and testosterone. As a result, it's one of the most recommended menopause supplements.
American Ginseng Root which are plant compounds that mimic the effects of estrogen in the body. Estrogen levels drop during menopause, which can cause a range of symptoms. By consuming American ginseng, women can increase their estrogen levels naturally and alleviate the symptoms associated with menopause.
Sage (Salvia officinalis) has been traditionally used to treat sweating and menopausal hot flushes, as well as to alleviate associated menopausal symptoms
PRECAUTIONS:
Black Cohosh is possibly safe when taken appropriately for up to one year. It can cause some mild side effects such as stomach upset, headache, rash, and a feeling of heaviness.
Chaste Tree chasteberry appears to be generally well tolerated. Side effects are generally mild, and may include nausea, headache, gastrointestinal disturbances, or itching. Taking chasteberry during pregnancy or while breastfeeding may not be safe.
Licorice Root is likely safe for most people when eaten in typical food amounts. Licorice that has had the chemical glycyrrhizin removed is possibly safe when taken in doses up to 4.5 grams daily for up to 4 months.
Sarsaparilla Root can induce stomach irritation; some people may also have stomach discomfort, diarrhoea, and indigestion. Sarsaparilla dust, the herb's powdered form, or "sarsaparilla dust," may cause allergic reactions in certain people.
American Ginseng Root is likely safe when used short-term. Doses of 100-3000 mg daily have been used safely for up to 12 weeks. Side effects might include headache, but it's usually well-tolerated. Pregnancy: American ginseng is possibly unsafe to use during pregnancy.
